Seven Sundays Dominates, Philippines Box Office (October 11-15, 2017)



The Filipino film, Seven Sundays, topped the Philippine box office in its first week with an P80 million finish. The film tells the story of the Bonifacio siblings (played by Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Christine Reyes and Enrique Gil) who must reunite after they found out that their father has been diagnosed with cancer. In the process, they must deal with unresolved issues among themselves.


Meanwhile, last week's top film, Blade Runner 2049, dropped almost 55% to P8 million and secured the second spot. Other films also saw massive drop in ticket sales: Kingsman The Golden Circle (-59%), Last Night (-76%), The Debutantes (-82%).
